Hello & welcome, this document outlines the terms & conditions you need to be aware of when using this website and booking our services. Please take the time to read our terms & conditions before booking an appointment. When you visit this website, use my services or purchase my products, you agree that you are over the age of 18 and willing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you don’t accept this agreement, you should not continue to visit this website or purchase from me.
Code of Conduct
Solace Health acknowledges health practitioners outside of the Australian Health Practitioner’s Regulation Agency (AHPRA) must comply with the Code of Conduct for Certain Health Care Workers. More information can be found here.
Informed Consent
All practitioners at Solace Health obtain informed consent and deliver non-invasive, patient centred care within their scope of practice. When necessary, recommendations for an appropriate referral if a particular case falls outside their scope of practice may be made.
Cancellation policy
Solace Health has a strict 48-hour cancellation policy. If you have to cancel your consultation for any reason, please give us as much notice as possible.
If your consultation is missed or cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, then 50% of the consult fee will be charged. Since payment for the consultation is taken at the time of booking, the remaining 50% will be refunded to you.
Booking and payment terms
All prices are quoted, and payments are processed in Australian Dollars ($AUD). Pricing is subject to change without notice. Bookings can be made via the website, or via phone within business operating hours. Consultations are to be paid for at the time of booking and additional costs for supplements etc are to be paid for before the consult ends. Third party partners may retain certain details when making the booking such as but not limited to name, credit card number, contact details etc.
Informed Consent
Appointments can be rescheduled up to 48 hours prior to the original appointment time. This can be completed via Simple clinic booking service (through email information) or by contacting Solace Health. If the practitioner is unable to attend a consultation, the client will be advised as soon as possible and will be given the opportunity to reschedule or get a refund of their consultation fee.
Client intake forms
At the time of booking an intake form will be emailed to all new clients. We kindly request you fill this form in within 48 hours of your appointment. In the case when an intake form is not completed prior to the scheduled appointment, it will need to be completed during a consultation at the expense of their own consultation.
Consultation Etiquette & Behavoiur
We ask for respect and kindness to all our staff and facilities so we can provide a safe environment. We do not tolerate inappropriate behaviour, aggressive comments or gestures. The practitioner reserves the right to terminate the consultation immediately if necessary and the client will incur 100% of the fee.
Additional consultation time will not be offered for late arrivals and 100% of the fee will be charged
Business Responsibilities
Melanie Muller is a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA) and all consultations are conducted in accordance with their code of ethics. Minimum professional qualifications for all our Naturopaths are Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy).

Your Responsibilities
You must provide Solace Health practitioners with full and accurate information about your diagnosed medical conditions, medications or supplements, known allergies and intolerances, so we can ensure safety of treatment and check for pharmacological interactions with any herbs or nutrients we prescribe.
We also need to know if you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or are breastfeeding, and we need to be informed if your situation or health status changes during the course of treatment, especially if you become pregnant, decide you want to become pregnant, discover a new symptom, develop an illness or if anything else changes since our last consultation.

Important Information
Any advice given to you by Solace health after the completion of an appointment will require you to adhere to the advice given to you. This requires patience as results can take time. If these instructions are not adhered to by you, you will be unlikely to receive your desired outcomes. Your health is ultimately your responsibility, and you must take ownership of your health journey.
At Solace health we do not guarantee results or improvements in any condition or symptom, everyone responds differently to natural treatments and there may be a change your symptoms could become worse. Symptom improvement may take some time. Should you commence treatment with a practitioner at Solace health, you agree to take any natural treatments, dietary advice, herbal medicine and nutritional supplements at your own risk. Solace health is not held responsible in the situation should your health condition or symptoms become worse after commencing natural treatment under our care. If symptoms do worsen, contact Solace Health to discuss options
Privacy
Solace Health acknowledges and adheres to the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. Personal information is obtained via communication by telephone, email, our website, third parties, media and is collected for the primary purpose of delivering our services to you/providing information to our clients.
Disclosure of personal information may include to third parties where you consent to the disclosure or use or where required or authorised by law.
Personal information is stored in a way to protect it form loss, misuse, unauthorised access, or disclosure. Personal information is to be kept in client files, which are required by law to be kept for a minimum of 7 years.
